About the Change a Heart Foundation
The Change a Heart Foundation (CHF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on changing hearts and saving lives through a host of domestic and international relief efforts. Founded on the belief that if you can change a heart, you can change the world, CHF has grown from a small grassroots initiative into an organization that reaches communities on almost every continent.
Our Mission
We believe that no child should suffer from malnutrition, die from water-borne illnesses, or sleep without shelter. Our mission is to mobilize compassionate individuals and communities to create meaningful, sustainable change in the lives of those who need it most.
How We Work
CHF is committed to grassroots organizing and fundraising. Working with small teams of dedicated volunteers, and in collaboration with other NGOs and community organizations, CHF is able to provide life-changing and life-saving support across the globe. Our lean operational model ensures that the maximum amount of every dollar donated goes directly to the communities we serve.
Our Impact
Through our Transformation Trips program, volunteers travel to communities in need to provide hands-on assistance in construction, education, healthcare, and community development. Our River Water initiative has brought clean drinking water to thousands of families, dramatically reducing water-borne illness in the communities we serve.
By partnering with collaborators such as Spero Collaborative and Middle Ground, we multiply our impact and ensure that relief efforts are both culturally sensitive and sustainable over the long term.
Our Values
- Compassion: Every action we take is rooted in genuine care for the well-being of others.
- Integrity: We are transparent in our operations and accountable to our donors, volunteers, and the communities we serve.
- Collaboration: We believe that lasting change is achieved through partnership and collective effort.
- Sustainability: Our programs are designed to create long-term, self-sustaining impact rather than temporary relief.
